This is the 1st show of the 2011-2012 school year. The show was produced by 4th Block students at Weaver Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina studying Music Production. Our students produce: original music, commercials, public service announcements, audition demos, original children's stories, and this podcast.

This is the final podcast of the 2010-2011 school year. Congratulations to our graduating seniors, Lorissa and Dylan! We wish them much success at NCA&T State University and University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Our last show includes, The Facts, Weaver News, This Week in History, Sports Report, New Gear Deals, Genre Junction, and one last comedic visit from the "Cafeteria Lady". This is our 2nd "Weaver New Music Showcase" and features Music Production student, Mauricio Bernal. Mauricio talks about his new Drum & Bass song created in our class. Mauricio has been actively using self-designed sounds rather than preset samples to create his music.

Weaver New Music Showcase features interviews with my students talking about songs they have created in Music Production at Weaver Academy. This is a chance for our listeners to hear what the producer was thinking about when they were working on the music, plus you get to hear the entire song itself. Feel free to send comments to us about what you hear. We are always exploring different styles of music and attempting to develop our own sound as producers.

The first interview in this series is with Matt Yocum, who is a junior music production student at Weaver. Matt has combined two styles of music to get a unique hybrid sound.
